THE WAILING WALL OF PRAYER
Ezekiel 22:30
From the very first day that the Lord called me to the work of prayer, I purposed to keep and pray for every single request, and for some unknown reason at that time I was blessed with a wicker bushel basket to store the small pieces of paper (prayer requests) in. Within the first seven years of the ministry, that bushel basket filled up to the brim! The Lord spoke to me that just as Ruth gleaned a bushel for her work so had I? “So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.” Ruth 2:17.
The hundreds of prayer requests on the United Intercessors Wailing Wall are Hilda’s “ephah of prayer” many years of laborious intercession. The Holy Spirit further added that as Ruth had received a reward so would I. “The Lord recompense thy work, and full reward be given thee of the Lord God Israel, under whose wings thou are come to trust” Ruth 2:12.

“And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30. I heard the call of prayer from God in 1983. He said, “Will you come and work for me full time doing my work of prayer?” Immediately I questioned Him, how could I pray all day? Many years later, with many long hours involved in the work of Prayer for Revival in America and the Body of Christ has answered that question.
In the early days I was faithful to pray for just a few prayer requests, and then as I proved myself faithful, the Lord would give me many more prayer requests. Today, people call, write and e-mail the prayer line from all over the United States and at times calls are even received from other countries. As you can see in the picture above--the UIPWC WAILING WALL located in Opelousas Louisiana has grown to hundreds of prayer requests. One day as I prayed the Lord said to me that every prayer request that I prayed for were Jewels in my Heavenly Crown. I thank the Lord for the Wonderful Opportunity He has given me to be a Servant In Prayer.
At this time she waits for the promise of her “Full Reward” from the God whom she has learned to trust. Thank you Jesus for all the Answered Prayers over the years and giving me the opportunity to pray with so many of you, America, and the needs of others. To God Be The Glory!
