NOT ALWAYS FORGOTTEN--PSALM 9:18

One night I had a dream, and it was about a sister in the Lord that I had not seen or talked to in about twenty years or so. You see we can forget someone, but God doesn’t! In the dream she was in a bed face down and very ill. I leaned down on the bed with my face close to her ear and I said to her, “I’m so very sorry my dear sister, but I’m going to do something to help you.” When I awakened, I knew that I needed to do something for this sister. I felt she was very ill and struggling financially, but first I must find out if the dream was from God. After chasing down some phone numbers I was able to get in touch with her daughter who said, “You did not know, but our mom is very ill with heart problems.” Immediately, I gathered up some money to send her and put up a special urgent prayer request for her healing. God gave me this word to send to her. “For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.” Psalm 9:18.
I was so excited because having a prayer line I hear the cry and know the personal struggles of God’s people from all over this nation. Some call me and some write or e-mail me. The dream about my sister in the Lord was meant to let me know that “set time” was upon us. God would remember us and bring His promises to pass in our lives. The long hard season that many of us have been in was a season to look up to heaven and hope and pray. But now things have changed; it is the season that God looks down from heaven upon you and me to begin to fill that hope and Answer our Prayers!
“For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth. To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;” Psalms 102:19-20. Surely, “Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;” Psalms 30:11. To God Be The Glory!
