In 1 Corinthians 16:13, it reads, Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong." Here, God's Word says, Keep your eyes open for spiritual dangers. Stand fast in the faith, stand true to the Lord and grow and be very courageous. It had been a year to Watch & Pray and take Courage. Later the Holy Spirit instructed United Intercessors to have a "Weekly Night Watch" and by the time we moved into the new year we were going strong with Two Night Watches a week. By the end of the year we had prayed through many, many Night Watches. I believe that there were many "Spiritual Dangers" that year. As United Intercessors and all of our Praying Friends interceded diligently for the nation, families and other needs, many were Spared Serious Spiritual Dangers. We thank the Lord for Answering Our Prayers, His Protection and Hand of Mercy upon the nation. To God Be The Glory!
I believe that it was a year of standing before the Lord that the nation should be not destroyed. In Ezekiel 22:30, it reads "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." Thank God that is not the case with us, He did find you and me to stand in the gap.
