About 7 years ago we began building the New United Intercessors Prayer Watch Center in South Louisiana which was built on 22 acres of land. When first purchased, it was a field under tall grass. The first year we built the school for the children and planted trees, shrubbery, flowers, ground cover etc. on the property. It sure was a barren land. One day I thought to myself, "I sure would like to plant a tomato plant," but I was so busy planting so many other things, that I just didn't have the time. His word says in Psalms 21:2, "Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah." Putting that thought aside, I went on about the Fathers Business for that day.
Shortly after I decided to plant some rose bushes on the property. I went to a local nursery and picked out this Beautiful Rose Bush. As I was getting ready to pay I noticed another big plant pushing out of the side of the rose bush. To my surprise it was a Tomato Plant!! I pointed and said to the checkout clerk, "There is a tomato plant, growing with this rose bush in the same pot!" She pulled on it to try and remove it but she said, " It's well planted, just go ahead and take it just the way it is." My heart was filled with "Great Joy" knowing that it had been my secret unspoken desire, God said, "I just blessed you with that tomato plant. Go and plant it." Beloved Be Encouraged, we serve an Awesome God who hears even the least of our desires. To God Be The Glory!
