We were on a ministry trip up north. Usually when we traveled in our earlier days we always left for our destination early in the morning. This morning was the same routine as we packed up our belongings to begin our long trip back home. It was cold and snow was on the ground. We prayed diligently to the Lord that morning asking for Traveling Grace and Mercy to be extended to us for our trip. We covered ourselves with the blood of Jesus which was first and foremost.
As soon as we got on the highway we also prayed Psalms 91 out loud. We were driving a small compact car. We had been traveling for about 45 minutes, it was still dark outside, when suddenly, the car swerved a bit and I seen my husband grip the steering wheel. I said, "What happened?" My husband just let out a big Praise God, and said, "We almost hit a deer!" He continued to tell me, "As I turned my head I seen this deer eyeball to eyeball on the left side of the windshield." I knew it was going to hit us, there wasn't any way to avoid it but suddenly it was gone- It Just Disappeared- No Sign Of It Anywhere!!
We knew that if the deer would of hit us in the small car we were driving, what a terrible accident we would have had and who knows what else would have happened. We both knew that by some "Divine Intervention" from heaven above that our lives had been spared. Because of the blood of Jesus and Psalm 91, I truly believe Almighty God kept us from that "Early Morning Danger." To God be the Glory!
