Our God in Jesus name loves for His people to pray and Appoints Area Prayer Lines. I moved to Opelousas Louisiana with the prayer line almost Seven Years ago. I was in Lafayette, Louisiana for a couple of years looking for land to buy. It seemed when it came to buying affordable land that the only open door for us was this area. After being in the area (Opelousas) for a while I received a phone call from a local business looking for a certain woman. They had some important papers for her. Her phone number on the paperwork they were holding was the same phone number that was assigned to the ministry.
As I explained to them that 337-948-1501 was my new phone number and I was not the lady they were looking for. I decided to call another acquaintance in the area who had the same last name as the lady they were looking for and she proceeded to share with me that, "That Lady" was her relative but she had passed away. After knowing the time she had passed, it was only 5 or 6 months before I moved to Opelousas.
I was informed that this "Wonderful Lady" loved to pray and was a praying friend to many in the area who would call her when they needed prayer, (local prayer line) but now she was gone.
What a surprise to me, when I realized that many times I had received calls from people who were looking for someone to pray with them wondering how they got my number. Now I understood that our God in Heaven truly is in charge of the "Praying Affairs" here on earth. It was "God's Perfect Timing" when I moved into the area, she had passed on and the Lord wanted someone to carry on and stand in the gap and pray, therefore assigned me her phone number, because He knew I would never tire of praying for those in need. "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;" Ephesians 6:18
