One morning my husband an I got up, preparing for the day, agreeing in prayer about our family's needs and discussing our schedules. Never really knowing how the enemy will try to come in to see if he can cause our faith to waiver. Our morning commute took us about 40 minutes everyday. We were discussing our bills for the week and I happen to open the checkbook and noticed a $300 mistake that I had made. The first words that came out of my mouth were "My God shall supply all of our needs." Phil. 4:19 but then the thought entered my mind for a split second "Oh Lord how are we going to pay our electric bill?" I felt so bad because normally I don't make mistakes like that. As soon as we walked in, God's Surprise and Love were waiting for us. Someone had blessed the ministry with a free will offering to be used specifically for someones utility bill! Talk about Rejoicing, Tears of Joy, and Thankfulness to the Lord and to that "Special Person" that obeyed the voice of the God to give that sacrificial offering. It was the exact amount that we needed to cover my mistake. We were so Blessed!
When we have our devotion with the Lord we pray for others, but we also have our own needs. Satan never sleeps and we must be prayed up and ready for any unexpected circumstances that may come our way. In all the uncertainties that surround us we must learn to trust and believe in Jesus, He is truly faithful to meet our every need!
At the end of the day when we lie down and reflect on how he has built up our faith and how much He has helped us, we grow closer to Him.
God is no respecter of persons what he did for us he will do for you!!!
