importance of prayer and has his devotion time with the Lord every morning
before he starts the day. “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek

| Tire On Work Vehicle |
A few weeks ago he had to go out of town to do a job for his company. While traveling down the highway he had a tire blow on his work vehicle. He managed to steer the truck safely
off the road without losing control, hurting anyone or getting hit by the other cars. As soon as he got off the highway he made a
phone call to his dispatcher and gave them his location. They told him they wouldn’t
be able to send anyone out to help him till the next morning. His first thought
was that he would have to sleep in that truck till morning. The awesome thing
is that he broke down right next to an exit ramp; which had places for him to
eat and a hotel where he could stay till the morning all within walking
distance. Thank You Jesus!
Now, the world would
say he was lucky that day but as Christians we know that we aren’t lucky we
have Jesus who is our covering and protection. When he finally had a chance to
think about what had happened he knew that the Lord helped him. What the enemy
meant for evil God turned it for good. “Even
though you intended to do harm to me, God intended it for good…” Genesis 50:20
(NRSV) In everything give
thanks to the Lord—we are so grateful for His goodness and provision even when
we are stranded along side a busy highway and the situation looks bad--He is with us. “The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love
me. I will protect those who trust in my name.” Psalm 91:14
