Dear Sister Hilda and Ministry of National
Divine Connection. You have been such a blessing and Godly example to our family. We
are thankful for you and the committed, faithful praying friends that pray for us daily. I thank the Lord every morning for prayer partners, His
provision and favor among other things. He hears our prayers and I thank Him
for Answering mine.
TESTIMONY
The other day I had to run some errands and
get a few things that I needed. I picked up some toiletries and then decided to
get my groceries. I usually go to one store to do all my shopping but they were
out of some of the items I needed so I went to another store which I rarely
stop at because their prices are considerably higher. However they had
everything I needed.
The salesperson was very
nice and helpful. She suggested that I sign up for some discounts on the
products I purchased. (His favor) She rang the items up and had some coupons in
her drawer that she applied to my bill, which saved me even more money. I
thanked her for her kindness--paid the bill and off I went. I was there longer than I expected so I rushed
home and began to unload the bags realizing that I forgot the mouthwash; which
was the reason I went to the store in the first place. Needless to say after
all that running around I was annoyed with myself thinking I would have to make
another trip to get the item I forgot.
As I continued to take
the things out of my bag I noticed that the salesperson put some free trial
sizes of products they must have been promoting. All things I could use and would
you believe in that bag the last thing I pulled out was a small bottle of
mouthwash—the same brand that use! I was preoccupied and in a hurry while
checking out and didn’t see her put any of those items in the bag. I was amazed
at what the Lord had done for me. Who knew I could get so excited about a 2 oz.
bottle of mouthwash.It really wasn’t about the mouthwash--it was about the awesomeness of God! I immediately raised my hands to
the heavens and thanked my Lord for caring enough about me to provide the very
thing I forgot and needed. Sure it was only mouthwash and the store is only 15
minutes down the road. I would have probably gone to the store the next day but
the Lord wanted me to know that “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” all I have needed
His hand has provided!
I say to you, “Don’t
worry about tomorrow—the Lord Jesus will take care of your needs one day at a
time. No matter how big or how small the hand of God will meet and supply your
every need. Receive your blessing—I received mine! I get excited and count it a
privilege anytime we can share of the great things the Lord does for us. “Take
therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the
things of itself.” Matthew 6:34
