We had put out an area wide request back in March of 1985 to our
NDC Praying Friends to pray our cities, states and the nation's sluggish
economy. We prayed for the mercy of God and prayed for forgiveness of our nation’s sin.
AN ANSWER TO PRAYER: Within 3 months
in June of 1985 a city in southern Louisiana was awarded a contract for a
building project that would employ 1100 working people. Glory to God for hearing and answering our
prayers—His mercy endureth forever! In the midst of a slow economy they found
favor because of the prayers of the saints. “…Praise the
Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention
that his name is exalted.” Isaiah 12:4
Today 23
years later our economy is in trouble and America still needs our prayers so we
continue to lift up our cities, states and nation. We need Jesus now more than ever—what He did
for the city in Louisiana in 1985 He can do for our cities today. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever." Hebrews 13:8
Please join us in prayer that America would repent
of her sins and that God would forgive us and bless our nation once again. “If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked
ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal
their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
