Dear Ministry
Friends, thank you so much for joining us in prayer this past week
for the needs of others. As we move closer to the Jewish Celebration of Rosh Hashanah it has much
meaning for Israel, but it still has meaning for us as Christians. Among the
many things that are used to Celebrate This Festival one is the Blowing of The
Ram's Horn.
On September 16th
2012 when The Ram’s Horn is sounded, there is total silence
in heaven for a short time. They believe that the Sound Reaches Heaven, God
Answers Prayer and then sends them a Good New Year--New Beginnings and most
important this Festival moves Israel into 10 DAYS OF REPENTANCE and NATIONAL CLEANSING or also known as the “DAYS OF AWE” and then the Harvest
Festival “FEAST OF TABERNACLES.” Most important the old year closes off.
When we get “Saved” or
“Born Again” we become a brand new man, old things are passed away and we
become a brand new creature in Christ and our prayers will begin to reach
heaven. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17. We are now a Righteous
Man who began a new year and God Hears Those Prayers. “The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16. The “Good News” is
that we also begin a Brand New Year--the old year closes off and so does our
years of sin--old things are passed away. Israel has something to Celebrate on
that Festival, but so do we, our Savior Jesus! In His love and service, hilda arredondo
