A sister in the Lord shared this testimony of God’s Love and Provision with us. She wrote, “My son asked me if he could wash my car to earn some money and honestly I really didn’t’ have any extra to spare. My thought was I only had enough money to take care of myself for the week. My needs should come first but immediately I felt the Lord say to me, “Don’t Worry, everything will be all right.” “In you, LORD my God, I put my trust.” Psalms 25:1 (NIV) So, I said okay and then struggled with what amount to give him. Should I bless him with $20.00 or $25.00 because he usually rushes through the job to get it done? To my surprise he actually took his time and did a really good job so God put it on my heart to bless him with $30.00 which was even more than I was prepared to give.
Our LORD is so AMAZING, later as I was looking through my purse for a previous check stub and pulled out a receipt from mid November and wrapped inside it was $30.00 in cash. Wow, is all I could say and feeling so much joy, I laughed out loud and said, “Lord You Are Just Amazing!” “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. Psalm 28:7. (NIV) I don’t know how I could have possibly missed $30.00 dollars back then and don’t recall missing any money. I felt so overwhelmed that I began to cry because God loves me that much!
We pray that you were encouraged by this testimony and thank Jehovah Jireh Our Provider who is able to meet our every need. It is AWESOME to see how GOD will PROVIDE FOR US when we listen and PUT OUR TRUST IN HIM!
