OUR CRY OF PRAYER BEARS FRUIT
One day, a sister in the Lord, was impressed to stop by and share what had just happened to her. She didn’t know why, but wanted to be obedient to the Holy Spirit. “That I may make the voice of thanksgiving heard and may tell of all Your wondrous works.” Psalm 26:7. She shared with me that while she was out driving that afternoon in the busy, busy traffic of our city, a woman in the next lane signaled to ask her if she could get in front of her in her lane. She smiled at her and nodded yes and then they stopped for a red light at a busy intersection. Immediately, the woman jumped out of her car, ran back to her as fast as she could and said, “Thank you so much for being so kind and letting me in your lane. I would like to share this with you,” and handed her two oranges. She was so surprised, to say the least.
The Lord had instructed her to come and share this incident with me and also impressed her to give me one of the oranges. “It just doesn’t make much sense,” she said as she handed me the orange with a smile. (I knew the oranges represented fruit)
The Holy Spirit immediately said, “I had her come and tell you about the incident to encourage you, “KEEP INTERCEDING; DON’T QUIT--YOUR PRAYERS ARE BEARING FRUIT!” Our God is an Awesome God and We Thank Him for Answering our Prayers!
