God Truly Listens When We Pray—Mark 11:24
I can recall many years ago, before my husband Jose was ordained a Minister of the Gospel he was a Carpenter by trade, a Man of Faith who believed in God. He learned very early on in his Christian Walk the importance of praying about everything. “…but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;” Philippians 4:19.
One day he received a call from a client who needed some carpentry work done to her home. When he arrived she explained that she needed him to find a pre-existing electrical outlet that had been covered up by the contractors that had done the initial renovations to her bathroom.
After agreeing to do the job he looked at her nicely re-done Bathroom Walls and knew that he didn’t want to damage them. He prayed and asked the Lord to help him find the outlet. “I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere…” 1 Timothy 2:8. Then the Holy Spirit told him to put a very small hole in the wall with the end of a screwdriver and Praise God after only one try he found the outlet and was able to install it for her. “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27.
Jesus is the Master Craftsman--let Him take control of the situation! He’s given us spiritual tools so to speak (Prayer/His Word/Holy Spirit) to use and lead us in our daily lives. God truly listens when we pray, “If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” Mark 11:24. Thank you for Answered Prayer, To God Be The Glory!
