THE WORD IS WORKING MIGHTILY IN ME!

Dear praying friends we’d like to share this Testimony that was sent to us from one of our Precious Prayer Partners. She wrote, “I have been trying to revive our “Fig Tree” in the backyard for the past two weeks. Due to the lack of rain and triple digit temperatures I did not want to lose the “First Fruits” of the season. I found myself getting up extra early to water it and even late in the evening so it would not wither and dry up. Over time I was able to bring it back to life so it could produce fruit.

Our heavenly Father is so gracious and can teach us even in trying to save what he created.  He began to speak to me that this is exactly how the Word works in us each day I thought of the song, “The Word Is Working Mightily In Me”. We must continually wet the soil so to speak so that we don’t spiritually dry up inside.  He said you were willing to get up extra early to save a plant how much more will you do for me, will you go the extra mile to produce the fruits in your life. Sometimes our dedications for the things we want supersede the things God has in store for us. The scripture says “I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit, for without me you can do nothing.” John 15:5. Jesus gives us life, Jesus feeds us so that we may grow and bear fruit. A plant will grow towards light it is natural for this to happen but we also need to grow towards the light the Light of Jesus and as long as we remain in Christ, we know we will bear much fruit - God has promised and we know that He keeps his promises. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15:7He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit,... Blessed With A Fig Tree

We have to penetrate our heart with God’s Word the Bible is God-breathed. It is a seed from which springs--spiritual life producing fruit. It’s a Lamp whose “Light” turns away the darkness and “Brightens the Path” for our feet. It is “Milk” for “Spiritual Babes” and “Meat” to “Strengthen Growing Christians” and an “Anchor” to “Keep Us from Sin.” Thank you God for your Word may it always bring forth “Spiritual Fruit” no matter what the circumstance or what I feel or see, “The Word Is Working Mightily In Me!”  By: N.F.
