| Help From Heaven--God Will Supply |
We received this Testimony of Answered Prayer from one of our own Divine Connection Prayer Partners. She shared that one of her grandsons needed $289.00 for a special school class. He was the oldest of 4 children and His parents didn’t have the extra finances to give him, and at that time they were also in need of groceries for their family. These grandparents are retired and on a fixed income they didn’t have it either--but gave a sacrificial offering of 100.00 to help their grandson. With the burden on her heart and being the praying person that she is, she asked the Lord to please help! Time went by, she kept praying and thanking God for the needed money and still (in the natural) the money hadn’t come in.
She shared with us that several weeks later on a Saturday evening around 6 p.m. they went for a drive. As they approached the business district in their town her husband saw pieces of paper blowing across the highway. He said, “I don’t know what that is but LORD, LET IT BE MONEY!” She chuckled in disbelief, but as we got closer that’s exactly what it was. We stopped the car right there in the middle of the road and began gathering it up as fast as we could before it all blew away. When we got back in our vehicle we began to count it. In my hands alone I had quite a few bills including a $100 dollar bill. We added everything up that he and I found and to our surprise the total came to $189.00! We couldn’t believe it! We looked around to see if there were any cars or people that might have been looking for lost money but there wasn’t a person in sight. After I had a moment to process everything that just took place I thought, this money and the hundred dollars we had put aside for my grandson was exactly the amount that was needed for his schooling! I also thought, for it being such a busy highway and dinner time there wasn’t one car on the road other than ours. God had even held back the traffic and kept us from harm the whole time we were running around picking up the money along the highway.

When we got home I checked the mail expecting the usual, although nothing about that evening was usual—and sure enough there was an unexpected check made out to us for $77.00! We used that to bless my daughter and her family with groceries! What a day that was—no matter how many times over the years God has Answered our Prayers and there have been many, I’m still in Awe of God’s Goodness, Mercy and His ability to meet our needs any way He sees fit.
