Dear Praying Friends God has been Faithful to Answer the Prayers of the Saints. We would like to share this Testimony of God’s Love, Protection and Mercy that was e-mailed to us by a Precious Sister in the Lord.
She wrote, "Hello Dear Hilda, I know I am always writing you for prayer requests but this time it is a Praise Report of such a Miracle! My granddaughter and her boyfriend were held at gunpoint on Wednesday night. They had dropped off a friend in front of her house and had previously picked up some food at a restaurant. They finished their food and then left. Two men pulled in front of them, got out of their vehicle and put a gun in both my granddaughter's and her boyfriend’s face. I really believe they were wanting the car but when they told her boyfriend to get out of the car, he refused which at first seemed foolish but considering they didn't tell her to get out--it could have been great wisdom. She could have ended up underneath some overpass dead or worse raped and dead. I know the Lord was protecting them. "Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Joshua 1:9 b
I pray every day that the Lord place angels and a hedge of protection around them. I am just in Awe of How Great Our God Is and how He Is Always On Time in every way. The young man is not saved and I have been praying for the Lord to show forth his goodness that would lead him to repentance. The gun they held on my granddaughter was just 4 inches from her head. She was terribly shaken but knew that the Lord Had Intervened and had Spared Their Lives. I can't PRAISE GOD enough for the MIRACLE He did for them. He is an On Time God, Thank God we are not planning a funeral instead we are Praising God for His Amazing Grace and for Sparing Their Lives! Yours in Christ, B.D."
