This year we celebrated 27 years of ministry. I shared with my husband, Jose that every year His presence and work of prayer gets sweeter. I have no regrets except one, and that is that I didn’t meet Jesus until I was 33 years old, wasting many years with no purpose. Many good Christians, even after we are born again are purchased, but not purposed. Many go through their Christian walk unfulfilled.
When I birthed my spiritual baby—the Ministry of National Divine Connection Of Prayer, and FOUND MY PURPOSE IN HIM, a cause for His Glory, Prayer for Revival in America and the Body of Christ. I have been thoroughly fulfilled ever since, and nothing else will satisfy. It is just like a woman who marries but has no children and feels that something is missing, but when she gives birth to that first child, her role as a mother is fulfilled. That is the best way I can explain it.
There have been times that I had no material possessions, but I had Jesus. This ministry of prayer and I were rich in Christ. Other times, I have been abounding with much material good, but as Paul shared in the Epistles, my contentment is not in having, but rather it is in knowing Him and truly Saints, I declare the same. “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13.
For 27 years I’ve reported to this ministry as punctual as anyone would have reported to their employer. I haven’t missed one day of work and even when I was afflicted in my body, I was determined to be at my post and not let the devil steal anything from me. I’ve never taken one vacation and didn’t feel that I needed to because my service to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords has been one long holiday full of Joy in Jesus. GOD IS FAITHFUL AND HE TRULY HAS ANSWERED MY PRAYER! "But thou, then thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret; shall reward thee openly." Matthew 6:6.
