Paul wrote to the Thessalonians in their times of trouble, upheaval and tribulation to stand firm and keep a strong grip on the truth. “Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.” 2 Thessalonians 2:15.
It was a time for a dear brother in the Lord to exercise all the word that He was ever taught and then Stand Firm In That Truth and Not Be Moved. He had been hearing the word and learning to walk in that faith over the years, faith became real when his beloved father was hit with a sudden heart attack.
He shared with me that everything he had ever learned about faith and standing on the Word of God, Prayer and Warfare was put into effect as he stood beside his father who was in the hospital and in critical condition.
After having Done All To Stand, he therefore, STOOD, and Praise God, he saw the Hand of the Lord bring his dad through knowing that Jesus had Answered his Prayers! To God Be The Glory!
