In October of 1990 we received a call that our son Tony, who was a truck driver had been in an Auto Accident. The hospital notified us that our son was unconscious and to come right away. Immediately, we dropped what we were doing and drove to Mt. Gilead a town fifty miles away. When we got to the hospital, we were given a much worse report. The doctor on duty showed the Arredondo’s their son’s x-ray—Tony Had A Broken Neck! He needed treatment that they couldn’t give him. They were afraid to send him by ambulance because the slightest bump could complicate his condition, so they had called for a helicopter to come and fly him to Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus Ohio. Prayer Warriors Were Notified To Pray For A Miracle! For some unknown reason, the helicopter was delayed and did not come until 8 p.m. that evening, four hours after the accident.
During this time, Tony had much time to think. There were the serious ponderings of “What if I never walk again?” He, also, examined his relationship with Jesus. Godly sorrow and repentance came and a more serious commitment came upon him to serve the Lord. But God had everything under control. It was around 7 p.m. and as he lay there waiting he told us that he felt a heat sensation, and heard a popping noise in his neck. Later, at the Columbus Hospital DOCTOR POTTER, his attending physician (the doctor’s name was no coincidence) told the Arredondo’s that their son’s neck was NOT BROKEN and feeling had come back into his legs!
Our JESUS had given us our MIRACLE! The Arredondo’s all agreed that HE is the POTTER and we are the CLAY! A few days later Tony was released and sent home. Shortly after being released He began to have blackouts, the church prayed again, the blackouts stopped and he was on his way to a complete recovery. There is Healing Balm in Gilead. To God Be The Glory! “… Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up…” James 5:14-15
