A Testimony By A Sister In The Lord Wrote: One thing sticks out in my mind as I think back about a time when United Intercessors moved from Ohio back to Louisiana. All the beautiful Ministry buildings had been emptied and United Intercessors was now operating in a very small section under a big tent. Boxes in the crowded tent were being loaded onto trucks for the move. In the midst of all this busyness and activity, Sister Hilda Arredondo, a true, dedicated servant of the Lord, was praying with someone over the phone with the same love, compassion commitment and anointing she did when she was in her nice beautiful office.
Then, the men needed to load the desk at which she was sitting and praying. She stood up, nodded and just walked away with the phone, still totally concentrating on the need of the person on the other end of the line. Unless a person could actually see the discomforts, pressures and burdens that a move of this magnitude could have caused, yet she was walking in the Lord’s Perfect Peace, they would never have believed it. Listening to her minister to someone else, you would have thought she did not have a problem in the world. What an example! What a lesson for me, when I need to do something for the Lord and my situation is less than perfect! “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7.
