A Sister in the Lord shared with me that one morning she was headed to work and had a busy day planned as most of us do. She had already driven for a little ways and realized that she had forgotten some important paperwork. So she turned around and went back to the house to get them. As she opened the door the house was full of smoke and there were flames coming off a skillet that was left on the stove in the kitchen. Everyone from the family had already left earlier that morning and when she got ready to leave for work her niece was the only there and must have accidentally left the burner to the stove on. Praise God she had arrived when she did. Gods Perfect Timing!
Now I am sure like most of us that she was not happy about having to go back to the house because this was going to probably make her late and put her behind the rest of the day. However, I see that God interrupted her schedule and prevented this disaster from happening. The evil one would have stolen their home and all their personal belongings.
The Lord is so good and loves His people. He takes all things meant for evil and turns them around for the good. We know that this was an “Answer To Prayer” and that it was God’s Hand Of Mercy that spared this precious family of 7 because a few weeks earlier the Lord had prompted United Intercessors to spend some quality time praying against the "Assignment of Fire” and covering the Saints of God and their families. To God Be The Glory! “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.
