HER TESTIMONY:
Back in July of 2009 I had a test done at a local hospital. Shortly after, I got the bill stating that the Insurance Company refused to pay due to it being a routine test. I knew that the test they performed on me was not classified as routine. I called the hospital and they informed me that the doctor coded the test that way and that I should contact his office to change the test code so the hospital could re-file with the insurance company.
After a phone call to the doctor’s office a woman in the billing department stated that they could not change the code because the test was already performed and that I would have to pay the full bill. The bill was for a few hundred dollars. So, after I spoke to her I hung up the phone and said to God, “Well God, it is in your hands right now and I went ahead and paid the bill in full.
It had been two weeks since I had placed the call, and today out of the blue I received a phone call from the Doctor’s Office. The nurse there saw my chart and what the other woman in the billing office wrote in it. She knew that this lady had not talked to the doctor, so she went and spoke to him herself. The doctor agreed to send the notification to change the code for the test that I had taken to the hospital so they could re-file with Insurance Company and reimburse me. This truly was the hand of God to use this nurse to help me. Praise God! He is such a GOOD GOD to be concerned about every problem we have.
