In the year 2000, the Lord had spoken to me to relocate our ministry to Lafayette, La. which was going to be a major geographical move for us. I moved in faith and just obeyed. He said, “Pack.” I didn’t have any money to move or for the trucks that we would need to move the ministry South. I fasted and my prayers as sweet incense rising were going up to the God of Heaven for this move.
We had packed for days and weeks and there wasn’t any more room where to stack the boxes. We were in desperate need for those moving trucks. On the third day of my fast, about three o’ clock in the afternoon, I went out to my patio, sat down and looked up towards the heavens and was talking to Father God. I was reminding Him that I was obeying Him, yet there wasn’t any money or trucks that were needed for this move. It was a very quiet, warm, autumn day and I had these gigantic tall trees in my backyard--about 75 feet tall. As I put my head down again to pray, I suddenly heard the wind rustling high up in the trees. It was His wind and I knew it. I looked up and said, “God is that you?” As the wind began to blow upon me in such a refreshing way, bringing a heavenly peace upon my soul; I just knew that His sweet breath of “Answered Prayer” was blowing upon me that day as He whispered to me, “I am going to help you now.” I got up from my patio table with the wind of God under my feet with such an assurance in my heart that all was well! I quickly went back in to the house and said, “Men, keep on packing; God said He is sending the money and the trucks for us to move to Louisiana!”
That wind was God’s exhaling breath of Answered Prayer; the Mighty God of Heaven had spoken! “Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” Psalm 141:1. Within a few days, the money that was needed came in for the trucks and within a week the first four big moving trucks rolled south to Louisiana—to our destination and our New Appointment of the Lord.
