The other day, we got up early and prepared for a heavy day of ministry work. One of the things that were on our list was to go to our storage unit at the back of the property. As I was praying in my devotion time before starting the day, suddenly the Holy Ghost took over me and out of my mouth Psalms 91:9-15, which I know by heart, began to pour out of my mouth, a holy prompting of the Spirit. I knew immediately that something was going to come against us, and to pray against a snake attack or snakebite. As we proceeded on with the workday, sure enough, one of the men picked up a big box and in it was a big 3-foot snake that snapped at him, but missed his hand. My husband came quickly with a big machete and killed it. Our Lord will keep and protect us.
I was also praying for some much needed finances. As I was looking in one of the boxes, we found our old offering box that we had at our last location of ministry. It had been in storage for four years. We found some cash and a check that Jesus had been saving for me in that box for that perfect time of need. The check was dated 2002. I called that person to make sure it was still good and she said, “That’s your check and it’s good, take it to the bank. It’s your money.” Through these incidents the Lord said, “Declare to my people I will always be there for them; I will be their peace; I will be their provider; I will never leave them or forsake them ever; they are mine and the blood of My Son, Jesus will cover them."
