Double For Your Trouble

A man called our prayer line needing prayer agreement for an increase in finances. His place of employment cut his hours back from 8 hours to 4 hours a day. On top of that a family member of his became very ill and was hospitalized. Not only was he concerned about how he was going to make ends meet but now he knew that extra finances would be needed to help his loved one. He explained his situation to his employer but they said that they couldn’t give anyone any overtime at all. Disappointed and unsure of what to do he continued to go to work. We began praying that the Lord would hear our prayers and meet all his needs. God is bigger than our circumstances He is always working behind the scenes on our behalf. “So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper…”Hebrews 13:6 (NASB)

An Answer To Prayer:The next week he was getting ready to clock out and because of an unexpected shipment that had come in that day they asked him to stay over to help out. He was so grateful to get the extra hours. He told us that the company has been so busy that they have needed him a full 8-9 hours every day. To God Be The Glory! We thank the Lord for taking care of our needs and for all those who prayed for this prayer request.“…this very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you.”Zechariah 9:12 (NASB)
