We were given an urgent request
to pray for a man who had recent heart surgery and wasn’t feeling well so he
had to be taken back to the hospital—cause unknown. We began praying right away
for a Healing Miracle! "And this is the
confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his
will, he heareth us…" 1 John 5:14
It turns out that it was
not his heart but an ulcer that had formed due to the medication he’d been taking. The man hemorrhaged and could have died if they
had not got him to the hospital in time. We praise God for His mercy and healing power. (Psalm 30:2)
Prayer Does Change Things! Because of the
power of prayer God’s ear was open to the cries of His people and is a very
present help in time of trouble. “And call upon me in the
day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Psalms 50:15
