Prayer Request: We received a prayer request for a lady who was in need of extra finances to fix her car. She had been given an estimate of how much it would cost to fix the car then they called her back and said it would cost more than they originally quoted her. We prayed a prayer of agreement that she was in God’s hands and He would take care of her need. “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” Psalm 9:10
Testimony Of Answered Prayer: A few days later she picked up her car and paid the bill in full. That same day a friend of hers who lived about 2 hours away unexpectedly stopped by for a visit. Her friend handed her a check and told her that the Lord put it on her heart to pay back 10 times what she borrowed. She had helped her friend earlier that year when she had a financial need. When she looked at the check it was the exact amount of the car repair bill—To God be the Glory! The Lord never forgets what we do for His name’s sake. “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17
