My Personal Testimony

Before I formed thee in the
belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified
thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 Jesus is our Savior, our
redeemer and our deliverer. He alone saves us from our sin and shame. Thank you
for giving me a “New” beginning and a “New” life to live for you.
When I was a little girl, I
used to look up into the blue sky with its beautiful white clouds, and feel so
small standing there. I was told that God had created me and the big world
surrounding me. This was an awesome thought for a little girl who found it hard
to comprehend all about this great God of the universe.
Many times I would try to
get close to this God who was somewhere in the blue sky so far away. I would
ponder in my small mind, who is He, how far is he, and how can I talk with Him?
Later on in years, I was given formulated prayers and instructed to pray them.
Oh, how I tried to make a connection with Him, but I had no success.
Since we are all born
sinners, I was one too. As the years went by I practiced the sin of my
wicked generation. In my misery and desperation many times I would cry, “Where
are you God, what is my purpose in life, why was I born?” It seemed that every
time I got close enough to touch that rainbow of happiness, it would elude me
one more time, and I was left once again, empty and searching for that
‘Something” in this sinful world. Yet, God’s promise still reigned for me in
the midst of the darkness. “But where sin abounded, grace much more abounds.” Romans 5:20
I always knew that I was to
be doing more in life that what my feeble attempts were accomplishing. We are
all born with a purpose, but what was mine? It wasn’t till I was born-again on
January 18, 1976 that I finally made that wonderful discovery and “Connection”
with my creator. After thirty-three years of searching I received the Lord
Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior who filled me with His love, joy
and peace. Praise to His Holy Name! “In whom we have redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
Ephesians 1:7
My life changed that day—by
God’s grace I am who I am, and by God’s grace I’ve been blessed all these years
with His presence and His grace will enable me to continue to run the race set
before me.
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus.” Philippians 3:14

Dear Praying Friends I pray that you will be Encouraged by this Testimony of Answered Prayer. Many
years ago I made a total commitment to walk with God. I didn’t want to be like
some Christians straddling the fence, one foot in the world and one in the
church. You want to be sure that you have the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Truth And The Light in
this hour of darkness. If you have loved ones that don’t know Him, then begin
to pray for them and our God will bring them in.
In 1976 when I got saved, my four children were not serving God. They
did not want Jesus and His life. In 1980 I really bared down in my prayer
closet to pray for my family. Later my husband got saved, and then together we
prayed for our children. Then one day, one by one they began to come to church,
accepted Jesus into their hearts and today they are all serving God and
working on their own children and families. “And Moses
said, we will go with our young and with our old, with our flocks, and with our
herds we will go, for I must hold a feast unto the Lord.” Exodus 10:9
I made a "Declaration" when I
came out of the world through the salvation experience. What was that
declaration? We will go with our sons (Tony) with our daughters (Debra, Tammy
and Nicole) we refuse to allow them to stay behind in the world without
salvation, but declare with determination and faith, “…as for
me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15
I remember
coming home with this big picture that said, “As For Me
And My House We Will Serve The Lord.” I placed
it on my wall facing everyone that entered our home. I want to assure you that
our God is no respecter of person’s and what He did for me He will do for you!
He will hear your prayer for all your loved ones and bring them in one by one. To God Be
The Glory!
Keep Praying, Keep Believing--Jesus Saves
I want to
take this opportunity to encourage all parents especially “Moms”
that if we stay faithful to Jesus in our prayers, He will give
us strength in our time of trouble with our children and He will
save them! He needs people, you and me, to pray for the lost so
they can be saved! “For this is good and acceptable in the sight
of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the
knowledge of the truth." I Timothy 2:3-4 Thank you
Lord that your word does not return to us void, but it accomplishes what you
intend for it to do. (Isaiah 55:11)
