Our God is big enough to take care of whatever need we might
have. I can recall a time that we had a
financial need and did not know how we were going to pay our ministry
bills. Things like water, electric and other expenses were overdue. His
promise to us is,
"Ask, and it
shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto
you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and
to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
The Lord asked me do you believe I can truly help
you and I said yes. Then He said to me, go kneel by your bed and thank me in
advance for meeting this need. I obeyed and while my husband and I were
kneeling we heard a knock at the door. It was around 10 p.m. in the evening and
we weren’t expecting anyone. We got up quickly to see who it was. When we
opened the door a friend of ours was standing there, they handed us an envelope
and then left.
We opened that envelope and all
the money needed for our bills was in it! We had knocked on heaven's door
and the Lord answered us with his knock at our door, not empty handed but
rather a hand full of blessings to meet our needs. To God be the Glory!
