A few years ago we received a severe weather warning for our area. I quickly
sent an “Urgent” prayer request out asking my dear
praying friends to please help me pray that God would extend grace, mercy and
stop all rains and flooding waters here in South Louisiana. “The earnest
prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James
5:16
Within one
hour after that request went out the torrential rains had begun to stop
and by the evening they were completely gone, not one drop of rain. Soon
after that the waters began to slowly recede, by the morning they were almost
gone.
An Answer To
Prayer: The united cry of His people was heard from the God
of heaven. To God Be The Glory! "But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his
righteousness unto children's children;" Psalms 103:13
