Our Prayers Carry Much Power

Dear Praying Friends, Your prayers are so very important and touch people and situations more than you will ever know.  Let me share with you a “Testimony” confirming the Power of Prayer.   Several young men that were in the military went swimming one day and a strong current pulled them under and sadly, some of them drowned.

About a year prior to this accident we were asked to pray for a certain young man in the military and his name was placed on our Wailing Wall of Prayer.   We pray for these men and women in many ways but one thing for sure is that we pray for their divine protection and that each one be returned safely to their families and loved ones.   The one soldier we were covering with prayer was spared—sadly, the others that were with him drowned, what a terrible tragedy! We prayed for the comfort and strength of the families that lost their loved ones.  Prayer Changes Things--please don’t stop praying, your prayers touch people and situations. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.” Psalm 145:18-19
