Obedience Brings A Blessing--Luke 11:28

Last week the Lord put a person in my path that wasn’t feeling well and needed some help physically and financially. I had to stop what I was doing and go purchase the item that they so desperately needed and deliver it to them. I put my plans on the back burner so to speak and quickly went to the store. I grabbed the item off the shelf and to my surprise a coupon for ($5.00 off) fell on the floor--what a wonderful blessing!

When the Lord asks you and I to do something for Him He will provide what is needed and help us with the task. He redeemed my time and met their need. This was an ANSWER to prayer. My heart was filled with thankfulness and joy knowing that Almighty God rewards our obedience! “Blessed…are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” Luke 11:28 (NIV) I know that when we make the right choices, at the end of the day what’s most important is that we reflect Christ. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 (KJV) Forever Faithful to Jesus, debra arredondo crisp
