A shared Testimony
of Answered Prayer--They wrote, "We received a notice from my son’s elementary
school stating that computer keyboards were needed for the children to practice
learning to type. “…for your
Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” Matthew 6:8. I got busy and completely
forgot about the note. Then a second notice was sent home as a reminder that if
anyone had any extra keyboards please send them to the school. I knew that over the weekend I would make time to go and specifically look for a keyboard. Later that evening I was
browsing on the Internet at a shop in our town and seen that they had
some holiday items I was interested in. I told my husband I would like to go to
that store and look around. A few days later we went to that store
and while walking around I noticed out of the corner of my eye several kinds of
keyboards--some marked as low as $2.00 each. I was so excited and couldn’t wait
to tell my husband that I’d found one for our son.
As I was checking out I began to tell the
store clerk that I couldn’t believe they had them marked down so low and that
my son’s school was in much need of keyboards for the children. He said, “You
know we are giving a lot of these old computer parts away today. This keyboard
is free and I will go and gather up all the others I have and you can have them
and give them to the school.” He ended up giving us a total of 9
keyboards in excellent condition. “For thou, Lord,
wilt bless the righteous; with favour…” Psalms 5:12. My son's teacher was so excited because every
student would have one of their own to use without having to share.
I walked
into the store looking for holiday items not knowing that the Lord had those
keyboards waiting just for me. I praise God that when we pray our steps are
truly ordered by Him. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
Psalms 37:23. God’s timing is always perfect. I was definitely in the right
place at the right time! I thank Him for His favor, meeting our need and the
needs of others. To God Be The Glory!
