A Prayer Request:
"Be careful for nothing; but in every
thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made
known unto God." Philippians 4:6. We received an email from a concerned
Christian Mother who asked us to please pray for her son who had a drug and
alcohol addiction.
United Prayer Goes Forth:
We called upon our NDC Prayer Partners and
stood on the Word of God for her son--praying that Almighty God would deliver
and set him free. We also prayed that He make Himself real to her son, open the
doors of his heart to accept help freeing him from all addictions. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2
Corinthians 5:17.
Testimony of Answered Prayer:
Our dear sister wrote, “I have a Praise Report. My son is
an alcoholic and his life has gone downhill. He has had no work and has managed
to alienate himself from everyone who loves him. I had not seen or talked to
him in 5 years. I wrote you and asked for prayer. I am picking him up today to
come live with me for a while. He is going to be working with me. He wants to
get sober and begin his life again. God is good. I want to thank all the
intercessors for praying. Please continue praying, he needs strength and
peace.”

We were very encouraged as we read her e-mail.
Her son is not alone. We pray daily for all the names on our Wailing Wall sent
in to us for those struggling with addictions. Our Jesus has a wonderful plan
and purpose for each and every precious soul we pray for. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the
Lord. “They are plans for good…to
give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11.We will continue to keep them all in our prayers until they are
totally Set Free and walking in complete Victory--To God Be The Glory!
