A Testimony Of Answered Prayer: Last Friday we needed to pay a bill. The company required payment by either cash or check only. (No credit cards accepted) We had to have the service done and knew that after we paid the bill it would be tight financially for us the rest of the week. But I felt a peace just knowing that the Lord would take care of our family just as He always has. “Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;.” Deuteronomy 7:9.
The very next day we checked the mail and amongst all the fliers and local advertisements there was a letter from our mortgage company. Not thinking it was anything important we quickly glanced at it and tossed it aside. Sunday evening when things finally settled down after a busy weekend, my husband began looking more closely at the mail that had come in the day before. With much excitement he said, “You won’t believe it but when I opened this envelope from the mortgage company there was a CHECK ATTACHED to our escrow papers on the house for an OVERPAYMENT!” We rejoiced and thanked the Lord for His Unexpected Blessing—He wants us to put ALL our trust in Him. “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:” Psalms 9:10.
Thank you to all the wonderful praying people at The National Divine Connection who Faithfully lift my family up in prayer year after year. “Daniel…went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God.” Daniel 6:10.
