"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14. While teaching Vacation Bible School, one of our Teachers led several of her students to the Lord. “And then he told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” Mark 16:15. As she pondered the event in her heart, she also asked the Lord if the young students really understood what they had done; if they had really had a heart experience.
One of the students who had just accepted Jesus stood in front of her. It was as though the Lord was saying “Ask Him?” So she asked the child if he knew where he was going when he died. His face lit up and in no uncertain terms, he answered, “Yes ma’am, I am going to heaven.” Then the Teacher asked him how he knew. He confidently said, “Because I asked Jesus In My Heart.” There was no uncertainty left in her mind. She knew he was SAVED! A few days later, this little boy went home to be with his Jesus. How important is every life we touch daily? Will what we say or don’t say change a person’s life? Let us never underestimate the importance of our WITNESS. One word we speak, one action we take, may well determine a person’s eternity. Do You know Jesus? God’s Love is Free to You and I and His Promises are Eternal—“Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." John 14:6.
