We would like to share this Testimony of Answered Prayer sent to us by a Beloved Sister in the Lord. This is another example of God’s Faithfulness and Love for You and I.
A few weeks ago I wanted a couple of ferns for my patio, (not a necessity, just a desire) but it really wasn’t in the budget at that particular time. Last weekend we were expecting company from out of town so we made a quick trip into town to pick up a few groceries that were needed to prepare a meal for our guests. As we approached the front of the store I saw a lady walking out to her car with 3 large ferns (without saying a word I thought those sure are pretty) and to our surprise my husband looked over and said, "Hey, these ferns are ½ off the price they were last week, we can afford to buy them--go and pick out the ones you want.” I looked at him and smiled--my heart was full and I was so excited to know that our steps were ordered by the Lord for that very moment. “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalms 37:4. I was Blessed with 2 of the most Beautiful Ferns, and I already knew where I was going to put them!
In the fast paced society we live in today, "WE DON'T WANT TO WAIT, WE WANT THINGS NOW!” I could have paid full price but "GOD HAD A BETTER PLAN” he gave me 2 for the price of 1 (DOUBLE FOR YOUR TROUBLE) just in time for my company! My Desire Was Met – God’s always there to meet our needs no matter how Great or how Small. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19.
I thanked my Father in Heaven for revealing himself to me--He continues teaching me daily to “TRUST HIM-- EVEN IN THE SMALL THINGS!”
