In Ephesians 6:18, it reads, “Praying always with all prayer and supplications in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”
Here at the UIPWC Prayer Center, we are always "Watching and "Praying" for the Saints Of God. Many of you have interceded for the prayer focuses sent to you in the newsletters in the privacy of your own homes, others call or e-mail to get the prayer requests, and some come to the ministry and pray for the requests on Wailing Wall Of Prayer. I can recall that one day as I was distributing prayer requests to the Wailing Wall, which is made up of five small buildings that I call Prayer Booths, I saw a familiar praying face in one of the booths. This precious little lady, in her 90’s, that prays weekly and has been with the UIPWC Praying Ministry for 20 years. She was kneeling by the Prayer Wall with a magnifying glass in her hand that was aiding her in seeing the names clearly on the prayer requests. I thought to myself, "Oh what faithful devotion; may our God Bless her and give her longer life.”
As I looked further down to the other prayer booth there was a young mom praying and when she came to help the ministry of prayer she had only one child and now is the mother of six. For 20 years she has been faithful to her weekly prayer hour and other special days of prayer, just taking time off to have her babies or for a vacation here and there. The next person I spotted was a widow woman who has been praying every week for 24 years for all the prayer assignments of United Intercessors, and the list goes on and on. They are not known to man, but known to God.
After many years of prayer, God has sent many of you to help United Intercessors with prayer. Together we have prayed and prayed in devotion and faithfulness. I thank the Lord that He has heard my cry and “Answered my Prayers” --and brought each one of you to help me pray for America and those in need. He needs you and me to continue to pray: let us Answer the Call. To God Be The Glory!
